How to Clean the Barbecue Grill and Store for the Next Grill

I love barbecues and grilling is essentially one of my most favorite activities in the kitchen. The work that comes with maintaining the grill, however, is not as simple as it may seem, what with all the grease and food that comes in contact with it every now and then. Food particles can stick on the grill, and once burnt, can become stubborn to remove if not given attention over time. Ever thought of throwing away your barbecue grill because it already looks so yucky with all the black burnt particles on it? Or have you ever thought of contacting good cleaning companies in Abu Dhabi just to make your valuable grilling machine look as good as when it was new?

Before you think of buying another barbecue grill and throw away your once beautiful cooking equipment, try following some of the tips I have compiled below on how to clean the barbecue grill and store it away for the next grill. These tips just might work for you!

Clean the Barbecue Grill Grate

One of the things that need to get done when cleaning the barbecue grill is to clean out the grill grate. The best thing to do this is to soak the grate on a bucket full of water and soap solution. Of course, you have to disconnect the grates from the propane tank first before you can do this. Make sure to wear gloves when doing this, especially when the grates are hot, to avoid accidental burns. Soaking can loosen up all the dirt and burnt food particles that have stubbornly clung to the grates. After around 15 to 30 minutes, get a brush and slowly scrub the grates. Rinse with clean water afterwards.

Clean the Hood and Inside Walls

The hood and inside walls are also prone to getting all messed up with dirt. Brush the hood and walls slowly, making sure that all grime build up is removed. Sometimes, you may see something like peeling paint under the hood, but it is actually a buildup of grease, smoke, and carbon. Remove these with the brush, but make sure that all heating elements under the hood are safely protected with a foil or any other protective covering. After brushing, wipe the hood and inside walls with a damp cloth. A damp paper cloth may also do.

If you have once hired cleaning companies in Abu Dhabi to do the dirty work of cleaning your grill for you, you must have seen how the cleaning was done. You may or may not use the type of cleaners they have used on your cooking equipment, but you may use the techniques they used in cleaning your grill.

Storing for the Next Grill

Maids services in Abu Dhabi can help a great deal in making your grill great again for the next grill, but it is still up to you on how to keep your grill in good condition for the next grill. If you want a grill that lasts for a lifetime, keep your grilling machine covered, especially if it is kept outdoors. Grills, no matter how you clean them after using, can die a sudden death anytime when exposed to too much harsh elements in the environment. Keeping it covered when not in use can prolong their lifespan and can even help prepare their condition for the next grill.
